Town Response to Annexation of Orchard Hills

The Eau Claire City Council has made it clear that they feel the City’s growth purposes are superior, and therefore, any commitment, practice, agreement, relationship, or expanse of evidence provided by outside agencies that does not comport to this purpose can and, as we have seen, will be discarded. The Orchard Hills location is outside of the City’s purview but, by dubious means they sought it for themselves. These actions and this decision are not that of collaboration or cooperation and are not that of a good neighbor. The Town will be fastidiously considering the next steps.
